Cabo Frio: Where the Sea Meets Serenity
Cabo Frio
The Cabo Frio coast is known as the Brazilian Caribbean, thanks to its crystal-clear waters that bathe this shoreline. Another striking feature is the sea temperature, which, between spring and summer—especially in September—can reach 20.3ºC.
This drop in temperature is caused by the steep geomorphological position of the continental shelf, triggering the upwelling of cold, deep Atlantic waters, along with the region’s wind patterns. These unique conditions create an ideal environment for thriving marine life.
Ilha do Japonês: an ecological paradise within the Costa do Sol State Park, featuring calm waters—perfect for anchoring your yacht and unwinding.

Praia das Conchas: located next to Praia do Peró, separated only by Morro do Vigia. Shaped like a seashell, it boasts natural pools formed among the rocks—perfect for a refreshing dip.

Ilha do Papagaio: situated 1,500 meters from Cabo Frio, Ilha do Papagaio features several coves sheltered from the wind, making it a fantastic diving spot thanks to its diverse and rich marine fauna.
